<<Dominique:
As far as I am concerned, maths is a tool, or at
least I use them as a tool providing to me a kind
of pleasure, and sceaning able to develop, to make
progress. It is somewhat like the gardener's
hoe, but I have the feeling that such a tool is
getting longer like a telescopic tool. That is to
say there are very large options, not yet explored
by myself and that I develop progressively. I use
frequently this tool, quite often in my
own way to look at things. It has a
content, a shape which are not fancies, it enables
to comunicate with other, but I do not care very
much this aspect as a means of
communication. I do not like to talk to a
maths friend, although as users of the same code,
we should understand each
other.>>
